However, for posterity, we must document a funny exchange that happened this evening.
Early on, Jen was frustrated with a piece that wasn't cooperating, so I asked Eve to take it away because "this piece has sass." It was a frustrating piece, so I found it a fitting word. Eve erupted in fits of giggles.
Later on, we both had puzzle back (a serious medical condition), and we called for a stretch. I somehow knocked a lamp over in the process (don't ask), blowing a lightbulb in the process. Eve tried to change the lightbulb, but reached in with her bare hand to touch the hot lightbulb. I called her a ninny. Hilarity enused.
Finally, I made some sort of comment about how there are "too many gaps in the puzzle these days", Eve said "You speak as though you're from another time, with the sass and the ninny and the 'too many gaps in the puzzle these days'." And we both lost it. I guess you had to be there.
So, that's it for now. We'll start Singapore once we figure out what to do with the other three, now completed quadrants.
