Prologue

With Eve's move to Indy approaching, it's time to introduce our dear readers to the "plan."



After debates which included building a giant table out of plywood to accommodate the whole puzzle, whose house should the puzzle be based, which room, etc., we have decided it will live at Jen's house, completed in quadrants on the dining room table, courtesy of a giant puzzle mat.

As each quadrant is completed, it will be moved down into the basement staging area, where the entire puzzle will be assembled and, upon completion, glued for preservation.

We are hoping to get started once Eve is moved and settled, and our 1-year deadline will begin. Our goal is to beat the time set forth by some other people who did the same puzzle (well, their photo was of 4 different maps, but another 18000 piece puzzle by the same manufacturer).
